STA Celebrates Earth Day with First-ever Handbag Giveaway

Consignment shopping has always been eco-friendly, and this year, upscale consignment chain Second Time Around (STA) is celebrating Earth Day with their first-ever social media giveaway. From April 2nd through April 22nd, STA will be collecting entries for a chance to win a kelly green Tory Burch "Nico" leather tote. To enter, people can enter their email addresses on the official Facebook page. They can then share the contest on their own Facebook pages to earn additional entries.

In addition to the giveaway, STA has created Eco-Chic Week on its blog and Pinterest page in honor of Earth Day. From April 16th through April 22nd, Second Time Around will blog and pin content on stylish ways to go green.

Taking consignment upscale, Second Time Around carries the most coveted designer brands and items at a fraction of their original retail value. From high-end handbags to designer jewelry to premium denim, each store has a unique selection of upscale consignment. With 50,000 active consignors across the country, Second Time Around constantly curates their exclusive inventory, bringing customers seasonal, current pieces in new and like-new condition. With this approach, stepping into one of the stores promises to never be the same experience twice.

Recently featured as the focus of Bravo's reality television show Fashion Hunters, Second Time Around gave an inside look at the world of upscale consignment from the perspective of one of its stores in New York City. The show followed four associates from the Mott Street store in Nolita as they searched the high-end closets of Manhattan's elite.

Based in New England, Second Time Around has established a national presence with 29 stores across 11 states in some of the country's hottest style districts. Since opening its doors in 1973, the company has grown into a national brand, bringing high-end items at budget-friendly prices to closets everywhere, both in stores and online.
