The School Reunion. It’s that one party we all dread and at the same time cannot wait to attend. It only happens once every 5, 10, 20 years. We ponder for weeks and months what to wear. The term “dress to impress” goes though our minds over and over and over again. So what exactly do you wear to your reunion to make that impact- to dress and actually impress? Here are a few ideas that will have you feeling comfortable, confident and chic.

The little black dress is a simple and effortless way to make a statement, while still looking classic and elegant. Pair with bold gold jewelry for a gorgeous modern take on Grecian. For a standout look, wear a dress in a bright eye-catching color. You will be sure to turn heads in a vibrant red, bold blue, or gorgeous green. Choose a length you feel comfortable with and always choose a detail which accentuates your best features. Accessorize with a great pair of strappy heels or sky high wedges, keep your jewelry clean and simple, and add wrap, cropped jacket or blazer for chilly evenings.

A pencil skirt is another great – but unexpected – reunion look. While usually reserved for the office, if you pick a fitted silhouette, it is sexy and flattering, while remaining appropriate and classy. Pair the skirt with a blouse that has alluring details- lace, draping, sheer sleeves or sleeveless, etc. If the weather calls for it, a structured, cropped jacket is perfect way to top off the look.
